About Us
The Beautiful Life Center advances human flourishing through art-based programs, identity formation, and health humanities innovation. Rooted in the belief that a sense of dignity is essential to well-being, we design programs and tools that help individuals and communities live more fully—in alignment with their aspirations.
Our interdisciplinary approach draws from the health humanities, public health, and the arts to engage the full spectrum of human experience—emotional, spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, and cultural. We create integrative interventions that define wellness not simply as the absence of illness, but as the presence of meaning, belonging, and inspiration.
At the heart of our mission is the belief that beauty is not a luxury—and that centering beauty does not mean romanticizing the reality of human life. Rather, we understand beauty as a shared gift of humanity and a regenerative force—one that continually renews how we inquire into and relate to the world, fostering healing, dignity, transformation, and innovation, even amid suffering and complexity.
Through reflective courses, care-based models, and public programs, we accompany people of all ages and vocations in cultivating lives that are whole, creative, resilient, and elegant. We believe that when individuals are seen, heard, and honored in their unique beauty, their lives become works of art—and our shared world grows more just, compassionate, and vibrantly flourishing.
Our Mission
We promote human flourishing through aesthetic and creative experiences that restore dignity, spark meaning and creativity, and support holistic well-being. We do this by developing arts-based programs, research-informed tools, and reflective learning spaces that engage the full spectrum of human experience. In collaboration with communities and partners, we bring these offerings into diverse cultural and professional contexts—advancing lives and inspiring systems of care rooted in beauty, equity, and connection.
Our History
The Beautiful Life Center was founded in 2025 by Vivienne Kim to advance human flourishing through aesthetic experience. Grounded in interdisciplinary research, the Center develops initiatives that respond to real-world challenges and seek to enrich the quality of life for individuals and communities.
Our Values
Our work is grounded in values that uphold the dignity, potential, and beauty of human life. These principles shape how we design, connect, and accompany others—with care, intentionality, and a commitment to shared flourishing.
